Gov. Matt Blunt, R-Mo., issued the following press release:
Gov. Matt Blunt today announced over $1 million dollars has been awarded to local law enforcement agencies through the federal Local Law Enforcement Block Grant/JAG program (LLEBG/JAG).
"Our public safety agencies must have the resources they need to save lives and we will continue to aggressively seek out federal funds to help make our neighborhoods as safe as possible," Gov. Blunt said. "These grants will make a big difference in fighting crime resulting in safer communities for Missourians."
