Article: WHEAT-WEAVING WORKSHOP AT SPRING MILL, JAN. 24

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release:

Wheat weaving, a centuries-old craft that became particularly popular during the 1800s will be the subject of a workshop where participants will learn the craft, to be held at Spring Mill State Park, Jan. 24.

The event runs from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Oak Room of the Spring Mill Inn, with a break for lunch. Attendees will learn the basics and create three weavings to take home.

The cost of the workshop is $15 per person, including a buffet lunch in the Millstone Dining Room at the inn. All participants must register in advance by no later than Jan. 20 to ...
