Article: ENERGY SECRETARY CHATS WITH OAK RIDGE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

The U.S. Department of Energy's Oak Ridge Office issued the following news release:

Students in three classes at Oak Ridge High School received a little one-on-one instruction Friday morning from one of the nation's top science officials.

Ray Orbach, the Department of Energy's undersecretary for science, visited the school for about an hour Friday. He met with students in teacher Peggy Bertrand's advanced placement physics class, Nita Ganguly's genetics class, and Benita Albert's math/science thesis class.

"Technology is changing," Orbach told Bertrand's class. "You have opportunities people before you never had. The discovery possibilities are endless for you."
