Article: King & King closes on future downtown home office

SYRACUSE - King & King Architects, LLP, a 140-year-old architectural firm, closed on the purchase of a new headquarters building in Syracuse's West Street area Dec. 4.

The firm, currently based in Manlius, bought the building at 358 W. Jefferson St. in Syracuse for $700,000, says Peter King, managing partner for King & King.

King and partners James King, Kirt Narburgh, and David Johnson first entered into a purchase agreement on the 51,000-square-foot building May 30. King & King plans to renovate both the inside and outside of the building.

The partners are financing both the building purchase and its renovations through M&T Bank. The architecture firm has not yet projected ...
