New York, Jan. 17 -- 'American Idol's former contestant Chris Daughtry has defended himself after saying that the top rated reality contest is on its decline.
Recently, the 28-year-old singer said that the show mainly responsible for his success is 'probably not gonna last too much longer.'
He said: "I feel like it's definitely lacking some credibility at this point."
However, he has now defended his harsh comments on his blog because he feels that his quotes were taken out of context.
"It's so sad that when you're asked something and you answer honestly... you're made out to be the bad guy," the New York Post quoted ...
