WASHINGTON, Jan. 22 -- Rep. Richard Baker, R-Louisiana, has introduced a resolution (H.Res. 933) "commending the Louisiana State University Tigers football team for winning the 2007 Bowl Championship Series national championship game."

The resolution, introduced on Jan. 18, was co-sponsored by Reps. Jim McCrery, R-Louisiana; William Jefferson, D-Louisiana; Rodney Alexander, R-Louisiana; Charles Boustany, R-Louisiana; and Charlie Melancon, D-Louisiana. It was referred to the House Education and Labor Committee.
