The FBI has awarded Winchester Ammunition a contract worth $54 million, the largest single such contract in the history of federal law enforcement, according to company officials.

Winchester Ammunition will produce .40 S&W service, training, reduced-lead training and frangible ammunition for the FBI for one base year, with four one-year renewal options.
