The city of Monterey Park issued the following news release:
On January 19, 2008, at 1652 Hrs, the Monterey Park Fire Department responded to 2359 S Vancouver Ave, in the City of Monterey Park for a residential structure fire.
Monterey Park Fire units with the assistance of Alhambra and Los Angeles County Fire Departments responded to the incident.
