The Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs issued the following news release:
One of the Wisconsin Air National Guard's two flying unit bases is on a new Air Force "roadmap" for next-generation aircraft systems, but the other base is not on the map - yet. The plan lists Madison's Truax Field as a potential base for new fighter aircraft, but the plan does not show replacement aircraft for the Air National Guard tankers currently based at Mitchell Field in Milwaukee.
