Article: SANTA MONICA COMPLETES SURVEY TO DETERMINE MOST VULNERABLE, CHRONIC HOMELESS

The city of Santa Monica issued the following news release:

The City of Santa Monica, in collaboration with local service providers, Los Angeles County, the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA), the Department of Veteran's Affairs and the Department of Mental Health, conducted a survey of homeless individuals within selected areas of the city, creating a service registry of the most vulnerable and chronic homeless people in Santa Monica which will focus the efforts of the City's existing Chronic Homeless Project. ** The findings of the survey will be released at a briefing in the Martin Luther King Jr. Auditorium in the Santa Monica Main Library TODAY January 31, 2008 at 3 p.m.
