In two months, residents and visitors will once again converge to the Mount Pleasant Farmers Market for the freshest produce and most enticing prepared foods the Lowcountry has to offer. On Tuesday, April 8, and every Tuesday through October 21, the market will offer live entertainment and a place to socialize and bring home the staples for a wonderful meal. Mount Pleasant Farmers Market coordinator Ashley McKenzie is inviting farmers and food vendors to submit their applications for the 2008 season no later than February 22.
