Article: DISTRICT ATTORNEY ARGUES AGAINST PAROLE FOR CONVICTED MURDERER, FORMER CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL OFFICER CRAIG PEYER

The San Diego County District Attorney issued the following press release:

San Diego County District Attorney Bonnie M. Dumanis announced today her office will appear before the California Board of Parole Hearings to strongly argue against granting a parole date to convicted murderer Craig Peyer. Peyer, a former California Highway Patrol Officer, killed 20-year old Cara Knott in 1986. He is serving a sentence of 25 years-to-life in prison.
