Jamaica, Farewell returns to the Broward performing arts center

FORT LAUDERDALE - Eddy Edwards and the Riddims Cultural Foundation on Sunday will bring back award-winning writer/performer Debra Ehrhardt in her poignant autobiographical show, Jamaica, Farewell.

When Edwards saw the well-received but all too brief, two-show engagement of the show in November, he immediately decided to bring it back to South Florida so that it could be enjoyed by an even wider audience.

With the Jamaican revolution in the 1970s as the setting, Jamaica, Farewell recounts Ehrhardt's harrowing journey from her native Kingston, Jamaica to America.
