To assure that he was not just on time - but ahead of time! - basketball icon Michael Jordon was up and about early on Monday morning, driving for more than an hour-anda-half in order to greet some 125 movers and shakers he had invited to join him on the 57th floor of JPMorgan Chase Tower for an 8 a.m. breakfast, "Honoring the History and Celebrating the Future of Hales Franciscan High School." Jordan, who has pledged $5 million to Hales, had requested their presence and support to help make a difference in the lives of young men who attend Hales, one of only three such schools in the country dedicated exclusively to African American males.
