The office of Sen. Wayne Allard, R-Colo., issued the following news release:

U.S. Sen. Wayne Allard (R-Colo.) today praised the Senate's overwhelmingly bipartisan vote to move to final passage of the terrorist surveillance bill.

"Today, American families have seen proof that our civil liberties can be protected while we keep our nation safe from those who wish to do us harm," said Allard. "This vote today is a great example of Senators from both sides of the aisle coming together to protect the best interests of the country."
