Rivers has officially been chosen as the site for a new seed-cleaning plant proposed by local and district farmers. E.C. Smith, president of the newly formed Farmers' Co-operative Seed Cleaning Plant, recently received a letter from Hon. C.L. Shuttleworth, the minister of agriculture, confirming the location.
