Article: PUBLIC ART SYMPOSIUM TO ADDRESS SEVEN PERSPECTIVES

The North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources' Arts Council issued the following news release:

For the first time in nearly two decades a symposium on public art will bring together artists, architects, landscape designers, government, and private developers on the value of integrating public art in community-wide discussion.

Scheduled April 11-12 at the Hanes Art Center at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, the event is sponsored by the North Carolina Arts Council, the South Carolina Arts Commission, the Percent for Art Collaborative and the Orange County Arts Commission.
