Georgia Panel Weighs Rules Requiring Police To Adopt Interrogation Policies

Georgia legislators are gathering information in preparation for the next session that would require law enforcement agencies to adopt written rules for interrogations and lineups.

State Representative Stephanie Benfield, who chairs the House study committee, has sponsored legislation that failed in the past.
