Oregon: NEW LAW SETS PENALTIES FOR ONLINE PREDATORS

The state has enacted a law, HB 3515, to establish penalties for sexual predators that use the Internet to solicit minors.

"The Internet presents a whole new set of dangers. It gives total anonymity to criminals," said House Judiciary Chairman Greg Macpherson, who guided the bill through the legislature.
