Broward County has a national reputation for producing the nation's top football talent. But every so often, a star basketball player rises to such a superior level that he draws national attention to an area of the country known for its football prowess.
The buzz about such a talent began when a 13-year-old eighth grader began raising eyebrows while playing varsity basketball at North Broward Preparatory School.
