Article: THE HILTON ORLANDO/ALTAMONTE SPRINGS RECEIVES FLORIDA GREEN LODGING DESIGNATION

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection issued the following news release:

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) today welcomed the Hilton Orlando/Altamonte Springs to the Florida Green Lodging Program. The Hilton is the 74th hotel in the state to be designated. The voluntary state initiative provides the lodging industry with technical assistance, encouraging hotels and motels to adopt cost-saving "green" practices that reduce waste and conserve natural resources.
