House Transportation Committee Chairman Jim Oberstar (D-MN) today visited the Quad-Cities at the invitation of Congressman Phil Hare (D-IL) to learn more about local transportation projects and initiatives.

Oberstar, Hare, and Congressman Bruce Braley (D-IA), a member of the House Transportation Committee, met with community leaders to discuss the restoration of passenger rail to the Quad-Cities, the I-74 bridge project, and the need to expand Highway 34 to four lanes.
