The U.S. Department of Justice's U.S. Attorney's office for Maryland issued the following press release:
U.S. District Judge Andre M. Davis sentenced Bobby Wayne Rhoades age 29, of North East, Maryland to 41 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release for tampering with infant formula, announced United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein.
"Bobby Wayne Rhoades jeopardized the life of an innocent child for $22.78," said United States Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein. "Thanks to the store's video surveillance camera and the work of FDA investigators and state authorities, he will be held accountable."
