U.S., German Inventors Develop Vehicle Body Parts Manufacturing Plant

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 27 -- Michael Degain of Grand Blanc, Mich., Robert Long of Shelby Township, Mich., and Hans Moser of Erlingen, Germany, have developed a manufacturing plant for components, especially body parts.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A manufacturing plant is provided for vehicle body parts. The manufacturing plant includes a number of processing stations, which are situated one behind the other along a transfer line, and of a number of multiaxial robots.
