Article: INSPECTOR GENERAL'S REVIEW SHINES LIGHT ON CALIFORNIA PRISON HEALTH CARE RECEIVERSHIP'S USE OF STATE FUNDS

The California Office of the Inspector General issued the following press release:

A review of the California Prison Health Care Receivership Corporation identified two budget areas where the receivership should reevaluate its use of state funds. Specifically, auditors noted that the receivership should regularly examine both the wages it pays to staff members and the travel claim reimbursements it provides to employees and consultants.
