Isoglossa asystasioides, a striking new species of Acanthaceae from Tanzania

Summary. Isoglossa asystasioides I. Darbysh. & Ensermu (Acanthaceae) is newly described from the lowland forests of east-central Tanzania. Its taxonomic affinities and conservation status are discussed. The infrageneric classification and generic affinities of Isoglossa are considered.
