Article: OREGON DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY CONDUCTING SURVEY OF WELL USE IN DOWNTOWN LEBANON

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality issued the following news release:

Beginning this week, a contractor working for the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) will be surveying residents and businesses in parts of downtown Lebanon to see if they use well water. The contractor, Hart Crowser, Inc., is working to determine the location of wells being used, and to request permission to test the well water to find out if it is contaminated. DEQ will then try to ensure that people are not exposed to contaminated water.
