Since Leksell [1] performed gamma knife radiosurgery (GKRS) on 63 patients with trigeminal neuralgia (TN), GKRS is considered to be an effective therapy and a minimally invasive surgical approach for medically or surgically intractable TN, especially for the patient who has failed other surgical procedures.
