Gov. Bobby Jindal, R-La., issued the following news release:
Today, Governor Bobby Jindal signed six more bills passed by the legislature in the ethics reform special session into law. Jindal signed HB 23, HB 29, HB 33, HB 56, and SB 5 and SB 8 today, and will continue to sign additional ethics reform bills in the coming days. The Governor also signed a contra-flow agreement with Mississippi today which legally establishes an agreement between the two states on evacuation procedures in the event of an emergency. This is the same agreement that was in place under Governor Blanco.
