Institute on Nursing Informatics and Classification
The 2007 Institute on Nursing Informatics and Classification was held at the College of Nursing on June 11-13, 2007. Over 50 participants attended representing 14 states and three countries. The conference featured the use of standardized nursing classification in the electronic health record. Presentations were given by experts who are using or implementing NIC and NOC into their healthcare system. During the 3-day conference, the Center had an open house to give participants an opportunity to dialogue with the developers and users of the classifications.
