Article: TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION WELCOMES 'TDOT' THE RACEHORSE TO AG DAY ON THE HILL

The Tennessee Department of Transportation issued the following news release:

Tennessee Department of Transportation employees joined Representative Stratton Bone today to welcome "TDOT" the racehorse to Legislative Plaza for Ag Day on the Hill. "TDOT" the three year old filly is a registered thoroughbred racehorse owned by Shannon Acres Farm, which is located near Lebanon, Tennessee.

"TDOT" employees congratulated "TDOT" and her owners, Barbara Conner and Anne Thompson, on the horse's first racing win. "TDOT" took top prize in the Maiden Race at Ellis Park in Henderson, Kentucky on August 16, 2007. It was just the fifth time the young filly had competed in a race.
