Naples resident Cmdr. William G. Roy (United States Navy Reserves, retired), a former photographer's mate (PHoM) Petty Officer Second Class in the United States Navy during World War II, recently learned that historic video footage he shot during the Battle of Midway is scheduled to be viewed at the second International Conference on WWII; Real to Reel: World War II in Film, Documentaries & Newsreels, April 10-12 at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans.
