Article: RENO FIRE DEPARTMENT LIGHT DUTY VEHICLE REPLACEMENTS APPROVED

The city of Reno issued the following news release:

The Reno Fire Department was given approval to purchase a replacement command vehicle and five replacement fire prevention vehicles by the Reno City Council Wednesday.

The Fire Department will utilize the State of Nevada bid under provision in state law (NRS 332.195) to purchase the Chevrolet Tahoe four-wheel drive vehicle that will be used by command staff for emergency and staff level operations, and the five Chevrolet Impalas that will be assigned to personnel in the Division of Fire Prevention.
