Washington, March 29 -- The trailers of Mike Myers' forthcoming comedy film 'The Love Guru' have enraged Hindu religious and cultural leaders, who believe that the film appears to be lampooning Hinduism.

Rajan Zed, president of the Nevada-based Universal Society of Hinduism, alleges that Hindu terms have been used frivolously in the film.

Another Hindu group, Shri Ramayan Pracharini Sabha, has expressed displeasure over the portrayal of Hindu characters like buffoons in the film.
