Another foreign company is taking advantage of the cheap U.S. dollar to purchase assets in the Quadstate region.

On March 1, The Shockey Companies in Winchester sold its Crider & Shockey ready-mix concrete division to Nazareth, Pa.based ESSROC, the North American subsidiary of Italcementi Group in Bergamo, Italy. No sale price has been announced.
