The Meetings Industry Megasite issued the following news release:
The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans has been renamed in the center's promotional and advertising material. The center will now be called the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in marketing materials, but the center's legal name will remain unchanged on contracts and in audited financial reports, according to the Times-Picayune. There are also no plans to change the name on the outside of the 3.1 million square foot building.
