Article: 2007 ALL-AMERICA CITY QUILT ON DISPLAY IN HICKORY APRIL 14 - 21

The city of Hickory issued the following press release:

The 2007 All-America City quilt has traveled across the country since last fall and will arrive in Hickory on April 14. The 90" x 98" quilt will be on display in the rotunda of the Patrick Beaver Memorial Library between April 14 - 21.

Each 2007 All-America City finalist was asked to bring a quilt square to the All-America City competition last June and each quilt square is now part of the 2007 All-America quilt. Hickory has a beautiful quilt square that accents mountains, streams and trees.
