When former computer programmer Brad Jones went searching for others who shared an interest in Microsoft Corp.'s .NET framework it's not like he could browse the personals to make that connection.
Instead, he co-founded the Indianapolis .NET Developers Association, a local club that is one of several so-called user groups existing in the city.
The groups' techie members congregate regularly to explore the intricacies of software programs ranging from the ubiquitous Microsoft Windows to more obscure Adobe ColdFusion applications.
