Rep. Ron Klein, D-Fla. (22nd CD), has issued the following news release:
U.S. Representative Ron Klein (FL-22) today spoke on the House floor to express strong support for H.R. 5501, the Tom Lantos and Henry J. Hyde United States Global Leadership Against HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria Reauthorization Act.
This bipartisan legislation to extend and expand a key initiative to combat HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria around the globe passed the House today by a vote of 308- 116.
