Reflections after six years.
There has not been a cloudless late summer day that has not brought uninvited memories. It has been six years since New Yorkers watched transfixed, horrified, and unbelieving, but the years melt away when sirens scream. It is September n all over again. In those six years, we have had time to reflect on the impact of that disaster on New York City's older residents in physical and emotional terms, what have we learned, what has been done, and what needs to be done.
