Article: McCain named chairman of Senate commerce committee

Following a vote taken by his Republican colleagues on the Senate Commerce, Science & Transportation Committee, Senator John McCain was unanimously elected committee chair. Subcommittee chairs were to be named at an organizational meeting scheduled to be held the week of January 20.
