ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- Ronald P. Rohrbach of Flemington, N.J., Peter D. Unger of Convenet Station, N.J., Gary B. Zulauf of Findlay, Ohio, Daniel E. Bause of Flanders, N.Y., Robert L. Smith of Erie, Pa., Richard J. Berkey of Mattawan, Ohio, and Bryon W. Stremler of Ontario, Canada, have developed an engine air induction system.
According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the invention relates to an "evaporative emissions filter for an engine air induction system. The evaporative emissions filter includes a hydrocarbon vapor-adsorbent member disposed within the air induction system outside the direct air flow path.
