The U.S. Department of Energy's Oak Ridge Office issued the following news release:

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Oak Ridge Office (ORO) Federal Building Complex fuel station will be converting to E-85 fuel only beginning Thursday, April 10, 2008, in its continued endeavor to be a leader and promoter of both environmental improvement and a reducer of dependency on foreign oil.

E-85 fuel is composed of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline. Ethanol is primarily produced from corn grown in the United States and is a renewable energy source.
