WASHINGTON, April 9 -- Sen. Daniel K. Akaka, D-Hawaii, has introduced a bill (S. 2796) to "require a pilot program on the use of community-based organizations to ensure that veterans receive the care and benefits they need."
The bill was introduced on April 2. It was referred to the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee.
