The Mississippi Attorney General issued the following news release:
The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation today announced the 2008 Play Ball Tour for Kids will stop in Jackson, Mississippi on April 11th. Festivities will include a youth baseball clinic at the Jackson State University Softball Field. Youth from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi and Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Mississippi will participate. Attorney General Jim Hood will kick off the event and will be joined by several members of the Mississippi State Legislature. The tour will also stop in Itta Benna, Mississppi at the Mississippi Valley State University baseball field on April 12th.
