Article: DESIGN UNDERWAY ON NEW CHANDLER CITY HALL

The city of Chandler issued the following news release:

Chandler is seeking input from its residents on the design of a new city hall to begin construction early next year. The City hired SmithGroup, Inc., in December to begin the 12-month design process and is asking the public to share their ideas for the 120,000-square-foot facility.

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Community Room of Chandler Police Headquarters, 250 E. Chicago Street.

The City has been leasing space in the Chandler Office Center at 55 N. Arizona Place since the fall of 1998. The lease will expire at the end of 2010; at which time the City expects to move into its new ...
