Funds to be Distributed to Non-Profits:
The Clatsop County Board of Commissioners has awarded a total of $14,000 to 11 local nonprofit organizations to help the most needy residents. Each year, the Board distributes a total of $15,000 to local programs that target local populations most in need socially and economically. This year, the Board had already allocated $500 to the Housing Solutions conference held last September in Seaside and $500 to the Meals on Wheels and Loaves and Fishes program in Astoria that sustained flood damage, leaving $14,000 available for this ...
