The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) Inland Fisheries Division completed a week-long herbicide spray project at Lake Bistineau on April 11 as part of a long-range plan to regain control of aquatic plants on the northwest Louisiana water body.
Seventeen LDWF spray crews were stationed at Lake Bistineau State Park between April 7 and 11. The crews covered 2,016 acres of giant salvinia, using 1,499 gallons ...
