Article: 2007 ALL-AMERICA CITY QUILT IN HICKORY APRIL 15-20

The city of Hickory issued the following press release:

The 2007 All-America City quilt that has traveled across the country since last fall arrived in Hickory on April 15. The 90" x 98" quilt will be on display during the Hickory City Council meeting tonight, and on Wednesday morning, it will move to the rotunda of the Patrick Beaver Memorial Library until April 20.

Each 2007 All-America City finalist was asked to bring a quilt square to the All-America City competition last June and each quilt square is now part of the 2007 All-America quilt.
