NEW DELHI, India, April 17 -- Even as the BCCI is having end-of-the-season assessment of its umpires at the National Cricket Academy, a section of the umpires is unhappy with its posting in the Indian Premier League. Senior umpires who've officiated on the field in ODIs have been posted as fourth umpires, whereas they were hoping for some better assignments in the IPL.
"The IPL was an opportunity for the BCCI to showcase its umpiring talent to the world," said an umpire on condition of anonymity.
